Impact Engine To Sponsor Editor & Publisher 2010 EPpy Awards

SAN DIEGO, CA — Impact Engine, the advertising technology company that pioneered online display ad automation, announces it is sponsoring the 2010 EPpy Awards.  The winners will be announced at the EPpy Awards Luncheon June 17th at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas during E&P’s Interactive Media Conference June 15-17, 2010. Headline speakers include executives from Google, Yahoo, Media News Group, Journal Register and several other leading media firms. Conference details can be found at Editor & Publisher’s IMC Conference website at: http://www.interactivemediaconference.com.

The EPpyTM Awards, presented by Editor & Publisher, honor the best media-affiliated Web sites across 36 diverse categories. Now in its 15th year, this international contest has broadened its scope to keep up with the ever-changing Internet industry. New for 2010 is the award for Best Social Networking Implementation on a Media-Affiliated Web site.

“The EPpy Award nominees represent innovators in our industry that are taking hold of the opportunities that exist in front of us and creating new ones as well. Not content to wait for others to make the first move, these leaders are changing the newspaper product to give the audience a social, conversational medium while giving advertisers the results they want.” said Neil Greer, CEO and Co-Founder of Impact Engine, Inc. “These companies, and the individuals who power their success, serve as beacons for where the next phase of industry growth lies.”

In addition to presenting awards to the media industry, the EPpyTM Awards also recognize excellence in college journalism with the award for Best College Newspaper Web Site.

NewMediaHub.com Raves About Impact Engine’s Online Advertising Platform

SAN DIEGO, CA — New Media Hub recently ran a feature on Impact Engine, the advertising technology company that pioneered display ad campaign performance optimization, in an article named “Impact Engine: Advertising Software Gets Better and Better.” The article, focused on software advertising, was featured on the New Media Hub’s Home Page.

In the article, published on September 23, 2009, New Media Hub raves about Impact Engine’s “robust ad platform” that allows publishers and other clients utilize ad editing tools; run diverse ad units including video, widgets, coupons, and data collection; all while being able to see real-time ROI reporting.

Claiming that “self-serve advertising software is increasingly important as media shift from print to Web-based business models,” and that “cutting time and cost from servicing existing accounts is a key goal, and self-serve allows companies to expand into the vast pool of smaller-sized businesses,” New Media Hub goes on to feature Impact Engine and its online display advertising solution as one of the leading ad platforms in the transition to Web-based business models.

In the article, New Media Hub features excerpts from Impact Engine’s enthusiastic customers’ success stories, including St. Tammany News and Marin Independent Journal. It goes on to give a bulleted description of Impact Engine’s “new, easy-to-use, often innovative features,” such as the Seasonally-themed Ad Template Catalog, Exotic Format Ads, Analytics Module with 3D Capability, and Reports Module.

“We are very pleased to be featured by NewMediaHub.com for our ImpactEngine.com product and customer results,” said Neil Greer, CEO of Impact Engine, Inc. “Impact Engine will continue to innovate on behalf of our clients as this is as much their product as it is ours. As Suzanne Rodriguez aptly points out in her article, ‘Self-service advertising software is increasingly important as media shift from print to Web-based business models.’ We could not agree more based on what we are seeing in the marketplace.”

As New Media Hub concludes in its “Impact Engine: Advertising Software Gets Better and Better” article, Impact Engine is “a platform worth looking into.”

Impact Engine is certified as a third party rich media vendor by both Yahoo! and Google, as well as hundreds of individual websites and online publications. A Good Question Worth Sharing

Author: Neil - Categories: Company Announcements

The following question came across my desk this afternoon:

“I have a video widget that collects data from the different sites where I advertise. Can I use my ad in Impact Engine?” “Can I customize the metrics?”

The answer to that question is “Yes..and..Yes”. Once your ad is inside your Impact Engine private gallery, you can make multiple versions and target them to many different publishers or ad networks with a click of a button. Extending and refining metrics is a built in capability of the platform.

Over the next week we will posting several examples of the different ad formats clients are using in the Impact Engine display advertising system. Some clients are already extending the use of the display ad platform in ways we hadn’t even thought of when we build it.
